~ F Scott Fitzgerald
"Odd how the creative power at once brings the whole universe to order."
~ Virginia Woolf
I’m not an abstractionist. I’m not interested in the relationship of color or form or anything else. I’m interested only in expressing basic human emotions: tragedy, ecstasy, doom, and so on. ~ Mark Rothko

How DML works:
All work submitted must be previously unpublished. Simultaneous submission are acceptable as long as you let me know when your work is accepted elsewhere. If I accept your work and you respond to my acceptance letter, you grant DML one-time electronic rights to your piece, and your copyright information will appear with your piece. All rights revert back to you upon publication. If your work is published here and it is then reprinted elsewhere, please mention DML as the first publisher.
I, unfortunately, am not currently able to offer monetary compensation for your fine work. My hope and intention is that this will change, depending on donations from contributors and readers.
After you send your submission (per the above specs), I will then let you know all has been received. I will respond again, electronically, to let you now my decision; I strive for a 4 week turnaround.
Your privacy:
Email is DML's primary means of communication with authors and artists. Your email address and other contact information is strictly confidential, used only by DML, and will not be provided to others without your written (email) permission. You may occasionally receive announcements pertaining to DML, such as publication of issues or calls for submissions. If you wish to be removed from DML's mailing list, just let me know.
I look forward to reading and viewing your work!
Thank you for your interest in Dark Moon Lilith.
