What is Dark Moon Lilith?

Dark Moon Lilith, The Journal (and my entire burgeoning enterprise, my business, and the umbrella under which I create) is derived from an astrological aspect.

I utilize astrology to make sense of my life and to understand my compulsions and behavior patterns. I believe life is a complex combination of fate and free will. I view my astrological chart as the map of my soul. I have Lilith, conjunct Mars in Aries in my 7th House of Partnership.

Lilith the goddess, archetypically speaking, is considered the first feminist. She represents divine feminine power and the creative life force.

In astrology, Lilith is an asteroid, and while there is a lack of agreement about whether Lilith, Dark Moon, or Black Moon are different aspects or one in the same, when viewed as a place on a person's chart, they can be interpreted as an aspect that represents our subconscious or our shadow, that in us which we attempt to hide from others and sometimes from ourselves. It is also that place within us that is rich in creativity and deeper knowing.

Thus, Dark Moon Lilith, for me, is about the divine, creative, dark feminine that has become a symbol of personal power to me and represents my drive to create and speak my truth.
